Nothing Comes Easy, without hard work and dedication’ I enjoy what I do, love my self and others, with all of that I know I will be successful’ These are the words by which Leon Parkins aka Lemon live and make his living by. People are at the heart of his job as a Comedian, Host and Actor. This seasoned Entertainer was born in Montego Bay but spent his formative years with his grandparents in St, Mary. There, he was always making those around him laugh and realized that he enjoyed making them happy. He decided from then that his life journey would take him along this path.

He started out as one part of a duo called “lime and lemon” traveling all over Jamaica, doing shows here and there, until he decided to pursue his own career. He got his big break in 2004, when he appeared on the comedy show ‘Laugh out Loud’ and he has not looked back since. He was a regular performer on the ‘Comedy Crack Up’ productions by Ellis International and to date remains the only act to appear on Best Care Foundation’s “Cum Mek We Laugh” show every year for five continuous years. Lemon has travelled extensively all over the world performing his craft. He has headlined shows locally and in countries such as: Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Marteen, St. Kitts and Nevis, Turks and Caicos, Cayman, USA, Canada and England. In 2006, he was nominated as best Comedian in England and most recently he has the distinction of being the only Jamaican Comedian to provide entertainment onboard the Carnival Cruise lines to a full house each night. When, he’s not on stage doing stand up comedy, Lemon may be rehearsing for his next role as an Actor or making a record and will bring all these elements into his role as a host/emcee for functions. He has appeared in a few stage plays to date namely ‘More Passa Passa’, ‘Bad Mind’, ‘Sum Man Fi Get Bun’ and ‘Crazy Landlord’. Lemon names veteran local Actor, Maxwell Grant and internationally known Actor/Comedian, Steve Harvey as his most admired professionals in the business. Whenever, he has any down time, Lemon enjoys karaoke and watching television, eating his favorite dish of Rice & Peas and Pork, and doesn’t drink nor smoke. ‘My passion is really comedy. I enjoy what I do to the max and I believe in myself. My greatest joy is when I’m performing, I love to see people cracking up and enjoying them self. Every performance I do is an audition for my next performance, so I’m always trying to sell myself and doing my best for my audience’
